Right now there are probably 50 bullpen arms that have no business getting real innings at the major league level. But they do because starting pitchers are going shorter, and managers play matchups more.

Those strategies aren't going to go away, however, so I think we'll see the rise of the useful multi-inning reliever soon enough. Maybe even tandem starting pitchers.
